There is
none who can boast that he is saved because of his own deeds, but it is
all prepared by God in advance . This is all because of God's mercy .
And all those who are not saved God is working on them constantly .
By nature we are always craving for sinful nature , because we all the born in sin . When a Child comes to this earth he always picks sinful thing more than the Good things . Because of our sinful nature. 'We all are object of Wrath'.
Many Times we try to present ourselves as the best in front of people , while we are not in reality in within. Many times we compare that we are most righteous . But whatever we do our deeds are like "filthy clothing" in front of God's eyes. Then why we Boast like Pharisees in front of Tax Collector. The very nature demonstrated by Jesus is to be humble. So we should be humble and not Boasting and comparing with others and living a life of hypocrite.
Many times our youth goes in depression and find themselves lost in life. Many think of committing suicide. Because Satan works to separate us from God's love. But according to the verse we are meditating upon , God Says : "We are saved not because of our deeds but because of His mercy and Love, He made us alive with Christ Jesus even when we were dead in transgression ". It is we who get separated from God and find ourselves far away from Him, God has given a position to us next to him irrespective of what we are or do. He is always ready for to receive us, though we walk away many times but he is the one who searches for us.
So we see some because of self righteous seek their glorification by comparing that they are good than others and seeing others lower than them and some gets so depressed with their life by losing self esteem and respect because Satan makes them fall into sin by many means like present days youth fall into adultery, drugs and many other things. And we get away from God by creating self distance between us and God. When Adam and Eve had Fallen into sin they were hiding from God. But God has already placed us next to him, he never gets away from us, It is we who run away from him. "He doesn't leave us or forsake us".
So leaving all our self righteousness or Sin we should be close to him and do good things, as we are His own craftsmanship, He has created us to do good. He never leave us and so we should cling with him all the while and do the best we can for the growth of his Kingdom.
